We recently got the opportunity to hang out with Amanda + Shawn (and their puppy, Lucy) during their engagement session not too long ago. We could hardly wait until their big day arrived! And finally, it did!
The meteorologist predicted rain all day, but that forecast never dampened their spirits.
The guys started their day with a quick round of golf at Horseshoe Valley Resort. The sun shone brightly, while they all laughed and took turns hitting the ball on the links.
Fast forward a couple of hours later, and the dark clouds started to appear. The rain fell. Amanda looked out the window at the change in weather, yet remained calm and smiling all morning, as she relaxed with the ladies in her suite. Then it was time to make the call, would she have the ceremony in the tent or on the green (as originally planned)? Amanda chose the golf course outdoors, and, suddenly, the rain subsided.
The rest of the day was gorgeous on property, while all around the Barrie area thunderstorms lit up the sky! The ceremony was short and sweet by a fountain, followed by the photo session with family and friends.
We rode the golf carts around the resort and found some lovely locations for the couple’s creative session. Because the rain was so cooperative, we even got the opportunity to go out at night for a brief photo session under the stars. It was an amazing day!
