Blue Mountain is one of my favourite wedding locations. So, when I was referred to Jackie by Lynn, one of the best wedding planners on the planet, I was thrilled! The weather forecast for Saturday was sunny and 17 degrees, a perfect day for a mountain-top wedding.
I spoke with Jackie on the phone and was super excited to meet her and Janus in person, and, of course, to photograph their big day! The anticipation in the room was palpable, Jackie + Janus shared some pretty sweet text messages.
After the ceremony, we rode the gondola down to the Village. We made a few choice photo stops along the way to the reception hall.
Janus used to run a chocolate factory! He, currently, manages two peanut butter factories. On our walk, we popped into the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to get a chocolate-covered, peanut butter apple. It was delicious! And free! Many thanks to the awesome staff at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
