Vicki + Dave are two of the sweetest people we’ve ever met. After chatting briefly with them, Vicki quickly became one of my favourite people after discovering that she enjoys Bryan Adams, Michael Buble and the sunny state of Florida as much as I do.
Vicki + Dave own a cozy farm, tucked away, in Princeton, ON with their two cats, Sam and Max. We were introduced to Vicki + Dave through one of our previous couples, the delightful Sarah and Kevin, who’s wedding we had the honour of capturing last summer.
Earlier this year, we got the chance to shoot an engagement session with Vicki + Dave. We love engagement sessions because we believe it’s important to spend quality time with our couple’s prior to their wedding day.
Vicki + Dave have been together now for 13 years, so they decided to have a fun-filled day to celebrate their union with their family and friends at the stunning Elm Hurst Inn. It rained all day, well into the evening, but the wet weather didn’t dampen their spirits. They spent the majority of the day laughing with one another and trying not to get too emotional. In fact, whenever Vicki would start to tear up, Dave would gently whisper in her ear “pineapple,” because that word never failed to make her giggle. If Dave wasn’t around to provide a “pineapple” reference, her awesome bridesmaids would sing to her and make her smile.
Finally, the rain ceased, so the bride and groom, along with their bridal party decided to go outside with sparklers to light up the night. What a joyous day, and what a great group of people! Congratulations Vicki + Dave! Aloha!

It was a beautiful wedding. This video is amazing and caught it all. Makes me want to redo my wedding so I can have a video as great as this.
Oh my gosh! I do not even know you two. BUT I have enjoyed ElmHurst and know well the magic and country feel it exudes! I was in tears just watching this video.
