Jacqueline + Aaron are married! We met Jacqueline’s mother last year to discuss their upcoming wedding, while the couple was planning their move back to Barrie from Alberta. After hearing their story, we could hardly wait to meet these two. Once they arrived back in town, we met them at Barrie Country Club for a fun mini engagement session and a few holes of golf. They both love golf, so it was perfect that their wedding day was at one of our city’s finest golf clubs. This is their wedding story.

We started the day with Jacqueline and the lovely ladies as they were finishing their hair and make-up. We, then, headed over to meet the guys at a friend’s home for a few moments with the gentleman before heading back to Jackie. She was just getting into her stunning lace gown with the help of her Mom and sister. Her mother gave her a beautiful ring from her grandmother as the traditional “something old.” Tears welled in everyone’s eyes as she slipped the treasure on her finger. A moment later, she peeked around the corner for a first look with her Dad and bridesmaids. It was a touching moment. From there, we made our way across the street to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for the ceremony. The two were pronounced husband and wife amid the cheers of family and friends.

We traveled back to Jacqueline’s parent’s home for family portraits before heading over to the Barrie Country Club for photos of the bridal party and couple. Since Aaron is a member, he was able to get his clubs and a cart for a few photographs. We spent some quiet moments with Aaron + Jacqueline alone, then it was time for their grand entrance. Speeches and stories from loved ones were told throughout dinner. Then it was time for the cake cutting, first dance and parent dances. The party was set in motion thanks to the help of the tiny ring bearer, who gathered a crowd around as he showcased some of his sweet dance moves. Aaron displayed some of his fine dance moves during the garter toss, as well. It was a fun night!
