Katie + Steve Engaged!
We love incorporating meaningful locations from a couple’s story into an engagement session. Which is exactly why Katie’s parent’s home, near Parry Sound, was the perfect choice for Katie + Steve’s engagement session. Not only did Katie + Steve share many weekends together up there with family, but it just so happens to be the spot where Steve popped the question last year.
Like most of our couples, who live out of town, we met Katie + Steve via Skype. Immediately, we adored them! Katie + Steve are such a fun-loving couple, and we were thrilled when they asked us to capture their upcoming wedding. We could hardly wait for their engagement session this fall, when we would get the opportunity to hang out with them for an evening, and get to know them better.
We started exploring the many trails that wrap around Katie’s parent’s property. The rock formations of the Canadian Shield, and the changing autumn leaves were splendid! From there, we made our way over to the golf course and ruins of an abandoned farmhouse.
