Bowling Engagement Photo Session in Guelph, ON
Alycia + Matt Engaged | Lucky in Love … And in Bowling!
Matt proposed to Alycia last year, on her birthday, at the Woodlawn Bowling Alley in Guelph, ON. Surrounded by friends and family, the birthday party turned into an even grander celebration, when Matt popped the question and she said “YES!” When we first heard this story, we knew we had to revisit the bowling alley during their engagement session because this is where their love and wedding story began.
Matt + Alycia selected their snazzy bowling shoes, and Buffalo Sabre coloured balls and started their open bowl engagement session. It was obvious that they possessed some serious PBA-style skills. Amazed by their bowling prowess, I asked if they bowled often. “No,” they said, “we guess this is just our lucky bowling alley”. I should say so.
We made our way over to Riverside Park in North Guelph, ON. Filled with botanical gardens, trees and buds ready to burst forth with life, we explored the park. We finished the session by grabbing a few shots of them in their matching Dutch Soccer Jerseys and Buffalo Sabres attire.
What a fun afternoon! Not too often do you get the chance to spend the day with a pair of bowling professionals. We can hardly wait to see Alycia + Matt again at their wedding later this year.
