Engagement Photography Session in Innisfil, ON
Red Shoes and Rails | Katie + Scott Engaged!
We love engagement photography sessions. If you read our blog, you’ll note how committed we are to the importance of engagement sessions. We believe it gives couples the opportunity to get to know us (and vice versa), prior to the main event. We are convinced that engagement sessiosn create an established relationship and familiarity between everyone, which helps alleviate some of the wedding day jitters for our couples. Almost without exception, couples realize that there is nothing to be nervous about once you’re in front of the camera. Oh snap! One less thing to nervous about on the wedding day.
Katie + Scott let us know that they were a little nervous prior to the engagement session; however, once they got started, they realized how easy an engagement session can be. We were so happy to put them at ease, and it was so cool to capture some candid, and fun, moments with them. As you can see, they are naturals.
We started the session at Scott’s parent’s property in Innisfil, ON. It was a warm and peaceful spring evening. Absolute perfection! We took a walk through the extensive backyard, and encountered some amazing scenery. It will be a stunning backdrop for their wedding next month.
From there, we headed to St. Paul’s Church, a nearby community fixture with red bricks and train tracks. Katie + Scott loved the architecture, and Katie was surprised we chose that location because that just so happens to be the church where her dad serves on a regular basis. Small world.
Thank You Katie + Scott for an enjoyable evening! It was wonderful working with the two of you! We can hardly wait for your wedding in three more weeks … the countdown begins.
P.S. We love your red shoes!
